Financial Benefits:
Florida Bright Futures Scholarship 2024-25 in USA will cover the 100% and 75% of the Tuition Fee of Selected Students.
Types of Scholarships:
Florida Bright Futures Scholarship offers four types of scholarships to eligible students. Details is given below:
1# Florida Academic Scholarship (FAS):
- 3.50 weighted GPA
- 100 service hours or 100 paid work hours
- Required 16 high school course credits
- Achieve minimum ACT®/SAT® score by June 30th of high school graduation year
2# Florida Medallion Scholarship (FMS):
- 3.00 weighted GPA
- 75 service hours or 100 paid work hours
- Required 16 high school course credits
- Achieve minimum ACT®/SAT® score by June 30th of high school graduation year
3# Gold Seal Cape Scholarship (GSC):
- No GPA requirement
- 30 service hours or 100 paid work hours
- 5 CAPE post-secondary credit hours
- No required ACT®/SAT® score
4# Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV):
- 3.00 weighted GPA in non-elective courses
- 3.5 unweighted GPA in career education courses
- 3 full credits in a single Career and Technical Education program
- 30 service hours or 100 paid work hours
- No required courses
- Achieve minimum ACT®/SAT® or P.E.R.T. exams score by June 30th of high school graduation year
General Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a Florida resident and a US citizen or eligible noncitizen, as determined by the student’s postsecondary institution.
- Complete the FFAA no later than August 31 after high school graduation.
- Earn a standard Florida high school diploma, or its equivalent, from a Florida public high school or a registered Florida Department of Education (FDOE) private high school; or complete a home education program.
- Not have been found guilty of, or pled nolo contendere to, a felony charge, unless the student has been granted clemency by the Governor and Cabinet sitting as the Executive Office of Clemency.
- Be accepted by, and enroll in a degree or certificate program at, an eligible Florida public or independent postsecondary institution.
- Be enrolled for at least six non-remedial semester credit hours (or the equivalent in quarter or clock hours) per term
Specific Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduate high school from a Florida public high school with a standard Florida high school diploma.
- Achieve the required minimum score on either the ACT® or SAT® college entrance exam by June 30 of high school graduation year;
- Complete the required number of volunteer service or 100 paid work hours; and
- Submit an FFAA no later than August 31 after high school graduation
